this is kind of a weird sketch for me. i haven't drawn like this for a long time.

It's been a while since I've been to any art shows around LA. This is partially to do with general busy-ness but I also just needed a break. Sometimes it gets hard for me to work on my own stuff when I'm constantly looking at other people's work.
However this weekend I couldn't miss Audrey Kawasaki's solo show at Copro Nason Gallery:





I love how those last two are totally long-lost sisters.

For your enjoyment, I'm posting two moleskine sketches today: one for last week when I forgot and one for this week because I have to have some dental work done this thurs. and I won't be able to make the post.

I kinda got rained out this weekend and didn't make it to any shows but I did more oil painting than I've done in a long time. I wish I could lock myself up in the house more often.
