More furniture. I'm sketching a lot of furniture lately. Generally I'm always drawing characters and though I love creating characters I'm trying to push myself to find inspiration in other subject matter and experiment more.
Though I missed the mustache party last weekend I was excited to find these wooden mustaches from somethingshidinghere on etsy. With all the mustache parties happening it's best to be prepared because everyone hates having to wipe off an eyeliner drawn mustache after to go to another party or club.
I'd never been to one of Scion's art shows. It always kind of struck me a little weird that Scion was trying to appeal to it's younger market by, as Mitra puts it, gaining "street cred" off the new art scene; though, at the same time I love that up and coming artists are being supported and taken seriously.

One of my favorite things about the new house (besides the studio) is the backyard and garden. I've never had a garden before so I don't know how to take care of it yet but it's really beautiful. For some reason it's taken me a while to get out there with the camera until this morning:
PS I think blogger is cutting these images a bit so if you want to see the whole thing just click on the image and it'll take you to the flickr page.
