Fellow Blood is the New Black artist Dan Monick's show at Little Bird Gallery on Sat.
I hadn't been to the Little Bird Gallery before and when we arrived I had this odd feeling that I'd been to that area before. Then I realized that a few doors down was the building where my grandfather had his medical practice back in the day. I guess now it houses a dental practice which looks like it's been there since my grandfather retired.
I love rediscovering places from my past.
Sometimes I feel like I don't ask enough questions about my grandparents' or my parents' life for that matter. I have to work on that. There are so many stories to record.

Posting a bit early because tomorrow is my birthday i'm not sure i'll get a chance. I'm going to be 27. No big plans. It's crunch time at work so I'll just be happy to be able to have dinner with some friends this weekend and maybe get a much-needed haircut.

centimetering
A little while ago I noticed the banner image on this blog disappeared. Not sure why but I guess that's the universe telling me it's time to make a new one.
I know everyone is all obsessed with This American Life but recently I've been completely addicted. I've discovered that listening to a radio while making stuff helps quiet some of the crazy voices in my head that prevent me from moving foward. Sometimes I listen to music but I have noticed that occasionally music affects my mood and my drive. I'll be totally into it and then another song comes on and kills it for me.
